Tire ?

What's up guys! Could some one please advise on what is the biggest tire I can throw on a stock suspension without a lift. Today I saw a YJ with some 31's and I don't think it had a lift. I'm a little lost!

AFAIK 31's are as big as you can get on stock without hitting your fenders while turning. You get a little rub while wheelin', but nothing that will cause a big problem. Buddy of mine uses 31's on his jeep. I plan on going 33's or so after I do an over-axle.

31's and no lift on a YJ will rub the flares even doing driveways. Seen too many with the centers of the flares rubbed out.

A short lift is a small price to pay to fit those tires you want. In the long run, you'll be glad you took the time and effort.
Don't settle for less than 33's!!!

I tried to get my leaf springs over my axels but it's a pain. I just decided to put them back the way they were. Thinking it would get a lift, but brake lines are tight. Thank guys!!
