Tire Help

Hey everyone my name is Dakota and I just bought my first jeep one month ago. Its pretty much stock, except that I herculined the tub a week ago. As much as i would like to purchase a 4" suspension lift and 33" tires, I simply dont have the money to get them just yet. I found an ad on craigslist for some 31 x 10.5 x 17 tires, and I am not sure they will fit. The jeep is a 95 4cyl, will these tires fit after I replace the shackles with some 1 1/4 greasable ones? Also, I am a bit confused as to what rim size i would need. Thanks

You would need a 17" rim that is say 8-10 inches wide in your lug pattern. I would pass on those. Plus it would be hard to spot in they have rot from sitting or could be out of round in spots from sitting. Welcome to WF

Would 31 x 10.5 x 15 be better. If so, what rim size?

That would be better for ya. 15" rim 8-10" wide. Watch the backspacing and lug pattern if going off craigs list. Stick with Jeep rims for Wranglers to be safe and still watch the backspacing.
