Tire size

I have 4 cyl. with 4.10 gear ratios. I want to know if I can run 33s on it. If not what size should I. If I want 33s what gear ration can I fix.

I have a 1995 yj 2.5 and run 33x12.50x15 on a 15x8 rim with no issues... That being said I rarely use 5th gear (more then most people do but I also have a cold air intake and magnaflow exhaust) and I plan on going to 4:88 before the end of summer because I do miss some of the power I had with 31s and am considering a small body lift to run 35s next year which I would definitely need a regear for anyway. But if you don't mind a minor power loss it can definitely be done... If you're really concerned make sure you go with an aluminum or alloy 15x8 rim and ask about the weights of different brands of tires.

No offense, but if you have to ask, have someone do your gears for you. I had my ARB's and 5.13's installed for $100 an axle. They were friends of mine, so I got a pretty good deal. You should be looking at paying about $150-$300 per axle from a shop for labor only.

And there's someone on here I believe it's AOR selling the full kit for 530 bucks so I'd say around 1500 bucks total

My 2.5 can get my 35's rolling with the stock 4.10's, but I'm not gonna be winning any races anytime soon. I'll be regearing to 4.88's shortly...

Lol getting em rolling is one thing but I remember the difference between 31s and 33s and I don't see 5th very often... Do you even remember that there's another gear up there all the way to the right??? Haha
