tires

I just got my first wrangler and I already love it, Its a 94 yj. I need to get new tires and I was wondering if anyone knew what the biggest tire I.could fit without a lift and without it looking like there stuffed in. I was thinking 31x10.5

Most 31's will rub slightly. 30x9.5's are the most you can do and not rub on the trail with stock rims and lift.
