Topless Jeep!

So, I have a small issue.
The Hard top that came with my YJ is in pretty terrible condition. I would love to put some sort of soft top on there (preferably a fastback style), but I seem to be missing that little lip around the back and sides that is on the later models. Does anyone have any advice on what I could do, or buy to make my soft top dreams come true?

Check out the websites that sell Jeep tops (Quadratec, Morris 4X4 and others).
If I was looking for a soft top I'd contact Bestop directly and describe your situation. They have great customer service.
You don't state what year your Jeep is. The difference between a "sport" roll bar and a "family" roll bar might make a difference when looking to buy a soft top.

Even a ratty hard top should be worth a few hundred dollars. You can sell it to help pay for the new soft top.

Good Luck, L.M.

The Bestop Supertop comes with all of the hardware and rails that you should need to install a new top. They make very good products. There’s a Sunrider option as well, which is pretty cool.

Call Bestop direct. If you don't get the answers you need, post what happened here. Cassie from Bestop will jump in and get you squared away.

Good Luck, L.M.
