Tore the boot off my Tom Woods shaft

I took my jeep out wheeling today and ended up trying to climb a hill and cased out on it. And i think a rock got into the boot on my brand new Tom Woods driveshaft and shredded it off. I tried to find the boot on their page to replace it but they don't list it or at least i cant find it.

Anyone ever ripped the boot and know where to buy one at because i need this thing fixed to keep dirt and water out of it.

That means you won't need to replace it again...

Look for a post by Acmenano titled "New Member".
In it he tells how he's a pilot and the aircraft industry has a term called AMU (aircraft monetary units). 1 AMU = $1000.00.

That brings us to Jeep Monetary Unit. JMU = $100.00
Aftermarket rear bumper with tire mount = 4.5 JMUs ($450.00).
agalloch07s bucket can hold a whole bunch of JMUs. He just spent .2 JMUs on a part that he'll probably not need ever....just because he has two in stock.

Good Luck, L.M.

Luckymac but if he bought just 1 then he would have needed 3 later. Jeep logic.

The boot has a manufacturers name and part number on it, it's Rockford 406-10. I did a search on it and cant find it for sale anywhere though but this number might be useful to someone searching in the future.

I lost my CV tool so i just slid a 3/8" socket over the end of the band-it clamp and twisted it tight with needle nose pliers. It worked perfect got it nice and tight and saved me $30 and a weeks worth of shipping for it to get here.
