Transmission identification

I have a 1987 YJ that has had the original 4 cylinder engine swapped to a 6 cylinder. I need to identify the transmission.Click image for larger version

It’s an NVG3550, very good transmission.

Smile Learning what I bought.

Thank you Phil. I have a transfer case shifter linkage alinement problem and I prefer to use hard linkage bolted to the transmission instead of cable linkage. I like the looks of the aa-715545 advance adapter kit as sold by Morris would work for me but any additional suggestions would be appreciated. I believe the problem is caused by rectangular tubing between the frame and transfer case skid plate to lower the transfer case as part of a lift kit. I like the Jeep but it is sometimes hard to figure out what modifications have been done to it over the last 32 years.
