Valve gasket?

So awhile ago I posted about white smoke coming from the exhaust my mechanic told me it was the head i lent it to my brother recently and he drive about 120 miles (scared to death of the jeep lol) and put some fresh gas in it now there is not white smoke and he says he hasnt had a scent of coolant from the exhaust like there was before but this is still a build up of coolant on the block and intake manifold none by the water pump this is only by the first cylinder and half way to the second is this from the valve gasket or is it the head like the mechanic said what do you think my coolant and oil is still full if that means anything

Sabretooth, It would be easier for other posters to provide good answers if you used punctuation.

Buy or rent a cooling system pressure tester. It is kind of like a bicycle pump that attaches to the neck of your radiator.
Rinse the front of your motor off with a garden hose and let it dry. Then connect the tester. Pump it up to 15lbs. and watch for leaks.
I suspect your thermostat housing or weep hole in your water pump, with greater consideration to the thermostat housing.

See how easily that reads with proper punctuation.

Let us know what you find.

Good Luck, L.M.

I thought this post looked familiar.

On 10 Sept. 2016, you posted the same question and got the same answers.

If you have coolant leaking from the valve cover gasket, you have more problems than a thermostat housing will cure. On a properly functioning motor there will be no coolant inside the rocker chamber (under the valve cover.

Do the pressure test with a cool motor and that should show you where the leak is originating from.

Let us know what you find.

Good Luck, L.M.
