Sometimes you just have to get creative.
I found a heavy coathanger that matched the thickness of the one rod that I did have. It didn't take too long to get just the right shape and it works just fine.
By looking at your pics, the biggest problem you'll have is locating a coathanger with the correct diameter. If you have a selection of plain steel welding rods, you might look there too.

Good Luck, L.M.

Yeah the external lock rod isnt bad the longer "interior" rod is a little more complicated... make the stuff isnt an issue i just like to source OE parts if at all possible

I had to modify an interior {handle to latch} rod. In order to duplicate the 'teeth' on the latch end of the rod, I used my die grinder with a skinny flat blade.
A Dremel tool with a thin flat blade would work as well.
The longer rod requires patience to get the bends just right and not rattle against the door shell.
If I didn't have a spare rod that I could modify, I'd use something like an old Ford antenna. I don't think a coathanger is stout enough to make the longer lock rods.

I agree, I would much rather use OE parts if available. Just ask the guys that have replaced 3 or more aftermarket internal clutch slave cylinders.

Good Luck, L.M.
