I'm not near my jeep for the pic. But under the hood there is a rubber hose that allows the water to drain from the vent in front of the windshield. When you open the hood it will be on the left side of the motor.(Facing the windshield) It comes out of the fire wall and is about 7" long. Squeeze the bottom to open it and make sure it is clear. If it's clogged it will back up the water(Because it can't drain) and will come into the jeep.

Thanks - I have had problems when I take my jeep to get it washed. Water drains into the passenger floor from under the dash. I'm going to try this and see if it works.

OMG a Chadwick reference.......That is by far the funnies read on this board.....It's also the first thing i thought of when he said to get it out of the lake..........hmmmmmm maybe C.L. is Chadwick in disguise and he knows from personal experience!

Oh, my! I had no idea that could be my problem....I thought my soft top kept leaking onto the passenger floor. I went out to check the hose, but I can't seem to lift the hood. I got all excited about it, but now this just sucks.

?? why can't you lift the hood? Just undo the outside latches and pull the safety latch under the hood back then lift it! lol
