What do y'all think? Hi Lift Jack Hood Mount DIY

over the weekend I made a hood mount for my high lift jack and I really like it, very sturdy no rattling of any kind. only concern is it might seem like a bit too much with the decals and everything else...just wanted to get opinions...

Decals what r you worried about them for it should be covered in mud instead...hah..nice mount you picked right spot on the hood not to high or low just right. Is it bolt on or did you drill

Looks good to me!
I couldn't reach it, but if you aren't vertically challenged it would be just fine!
06 Rubi with some sort of double ended, chrome knobbed, cross threaded, infinitely adjustable, frequently breakable, worn out flammywhammers zip tied onto it.
It used to be a jeep thing... til that sh!t broke!

I fabbed a hood mount as well bout a yr ago. Thread should be burined in this forum sonewhere. Nice work dude; looks cool as hell and who wants to wade into the mud or water to get a bumper mounted hi-lift anyway! Great place for it.

@ BashBro: I bought a 1/4" cable bicycle lock w/a 4# combo lock on it. Wrap it around the jack a few times and through your hood mounts and it will be safe. If someone wants it bad enough they either cut the cable or rip off the mounts and in that case they obviously need it worse than you do!
