what do you think????

After putting a lot of money into my 94 yj, i started to think i will only have this jeep for a few more years if that. it was 205,000 miles on it. so i got the idea that when i was going to buy a new jeep, i would just swap out the engine instead of buying a whole new jeep.
Do you think this would be a good idea or would cost to much? i looked around to get an idea on how much it would cost and cant really find anything. what do you think of this? and i would have course get a v8 or something better than my 4.0 6 cylinder.

Every possible upgrade you can do to your existing Jeep will be cheaper in the long run than buying anything new. You have already invested in your Jeep and won't get all your money out if you sell. That is certainly true if you try to trade it to a dealer. Keep it and finish the project the way you want it.

You can't have too many JEEPs. When mine are both worn our they will both get new engines, new drive trains, new brakes and tires..... I would never sell another JEEP. No way, no how.
