Doing body work on a friends rust bucket the B pillar area was beyond gone there was not much left. It had the goody factory side steps that trap road salt so the rockers and A pillar were rotted out as well.

IRQ and Dunk like this.

Decided to clean up some crusty rubber vac lines and replaced them with shiny red silicone. Well see how it lasts, but its sure pretty.

After replacing most of the sheet metal in a friends rotted out YJ we sprayed Raptor Liner to hide all of our patches and hopefully seal the metal so it will stop rusting. And it turned out well i think i will spray my jeep with it.

That looks great. Im getting pretty interested in Raptorliner. So far theyre the only one I can find that will tint it to a custom color.

You can get Monstaliner in many different colors. https://www.shop.monstaliner.com/Mon...-MLCHIPSET.htm

We are doing the outside of this jeep in Sans Panties which is a olive drab color. Monstaliner is VERY expensive compared to Raptor Liner though. I think my buddy paid around $400 for it but it is UV proof/resistant so it wont fade.

Here is a picture of a YJ in sans panties i found on the internet

We got the interior mostly put back into my buddy's YJ it looks amazing how well it turned out it's like another jeep now. We are going to finish up the exterior body work and roll monstaliner on it this weekend.

Water not circulating.

Water pump is new so it had to be thermostat. Brown goo came out during flush. Vehicle had sat before I bought it. Just going through each system. Also cleaned and installed lights in instrument cluster but cant see that in daylight.

Replaced my fuel pump/sending unit with a 20 gal unit since it was broke and i had done the 20 gal mod. Also did the filter and a flexalite electric fan 😎... makes that 4 cyl look so much smaller than it already did lol.

We finally got project rust bucket done and it turned out pretty well. I dont like working on rusted jeeps and this one had cancer pretty bad but i think as long as it stays out of road salt it has many more years left. The body is painted with sans panties monstaliner and it turned out decent.

I had great luck with some Krylon spray paint to refresh my spice dash. I cant remember the color off the top of my head, but it turned out really well, and was cheaper than new parts.

I had to purchase a black deck cover, and then trial and error about 20 different spray paints before I found one that would make it match the rest of my spice fabric. They dont make a spice deck cover for the sport bar anymore. Smh.

I want to buy a soft top. There are millions of selections in Black, but Spice, with full doors, only 1. $300 more than I have right now, so I wait....

So on my street some one lost a large yeti cup on the side of the road.
I asked my son to go with me to get it, he reached out the door and grabbed it.
The contents spilled on him a bit, and he said hey man someone pooped in this cup.
Then I realized he was not kidding because the jeep smelled so fowl.

Who poops in a yeti cup.and throws it out the window... better yet who stops to pick up random yeti cup.

He threw it out the window and some spilled in my jeep, it smells so bad

The sub box is 6" tall x 16" which is tight, tight tight. I recommend doing 6x15x30. Did Memphis sub, little amp, 6x9s Memphis in the dash speakers, and the Wet Sounds sound bar. Ordered 2 different Memphis sound bars and neither fit on the rollbar without serious jerry rigging, so settled on the 4 speaker Wet Sounds bar

Sound is thumping, kill your neighbor's baby loud, and crisp. At 70 mph top off running 33's on hot asphalt you need a mouthpiece to keep your teeth in!

I got a new black magic brakes t-case skid nutsert installed last weekend. There was a thread about nutserts but i cant find it. But I finally got around to replacing it and the black magic nutsert looks exactly like the factory nutsert. And the factory nutserts are welded in 2 places to the frame to prevent them from turning.

The nutserts amazon sell are not made to support a transmission and transfer case they are nut built heavy enough.Spend a few more dollars and do it right with the Black Magic Brakes nutserts.

I followed the instructions and cut notches in a 9/16" fine thread nut to prevent it from slipping. It was really easy i did it with a cut off wheel on an angle grinder and it did not slip a bit and i didn't really even grind sharp teeth i just left them squared off like a castle nut.

They compressed pretty easy, much easier than i was expecting. I was anticipating something more like crushing a crush sleeve but it wasn't that bad at all. I could have almost stripped it out because i thought i should go more. But i removed the bolt and you can see the threads were pulled down to the level of the frame so it was perfect. And once you tack weld them so they never spin they are going nowhere.
