what is this?

I recently replaced my head gasket in my 88 4.2 and this hose got accidently disconnected. I have no idea what it is. I don't feel any kind of suction. I know it came from somewhere around the manifold and carb area. Can anyone help me out?

that is part of your 4x4 system, if i remember right. when i rerouted all my lines in favor of cleaning up the engine bay, i totally skipped all that mess on the firewall

see if it hooks to the T that goes into the firewall just outside hte bottom of your picture. should be a white T if i am thinking of the right one.

i am looking for a drawing for you that shows how you can route around that whole thing, if you wanted too.

this is how i did my vacuum lines for 4x4 so it got rid of that area.

There is a white t that has one connection expossed. But before it came off I swore it went towards the manifold but the way the PO had all lines run in the engine compartment I wouldn't b surprised if it wrapped all around [email protected] n back to that T. I appreciate ur help ill check that out tomorrow
