What Lift To Go With

Ok jeep gods, need some help... well more help that is...

Its time to lift my jeep and I need to know which lift is the best one to go with.

Here is what I am looking at...

32 inch tires, black diamond 1.5 and extended shackles with 1.5 inch lift for a total of 3 inches... And a shackle reversal set up in the front.

Would this be an ideal set up for my jeep that will be a daily driver and a weekend off roader.

Any opions or help well be great....

right now the jeep is a stock 88

great lift no doubt about it, but your situation sounds like mine. you have a jeep for your daily driver and you want to wheel with it as well. the guys on here talked me into a 4" suspension lift and a 2" body lift with 35" tires. it's a clean lift remains nice for the streets and the trails. but it all depends on how high you want your rig to be. the black diamond kits are rad as hell though brother

I run a 4" kit with 33s. I get some rubbing on the rear. My bump stops are gone though.
Try to stay away from the longer shackles.
3/4" is about the limit. Now this is just me, you may vary.
Black Diamond makes a 3.5" YJ kit. They are owned by Super Lift now so its good stuff.
I run a 3" BD on my '66.

Sounds like a good system to me. I don't think the longer shackles will be as much of a concern with the shackle reversal. Go for it and get us pics.

nice rig zakkbowman! im at 4" on 33's and was considering lift shackles (for ease) but how involved is the body lift? I do all my own work...lift,welding,blah,blah,anything of importance I should know about the job? scale of 1-10 how difficult?
