why tailor your lift to your tires, why not tailor your tires to your lift?

You don't need one. I'd go 2" BB at the most.

Because he doesn't have a TJ is why he doesn't do the 2"BB.
I am running 31/10.50s on my 94 with stock springs. I rubbed a little at first then trimmed my flares along the lip and it keeps it from folding the flares up under the fender. If I flex it hard then it will get the fender but not enough to cut into the tire.
You can spend 100 bucks for a daystar 1" body lift and that will give you all the clearance you will need for 31's. That 1" BL will come in handy down the road when you decide to go to the next step in lifting and adding armor to the under carriage.
Just my .02 cents

I have looked around a bit, but I would like to run 31's for now. But my springs are beyond flat and I would like a bit more clearance for my off road fun. I am not in the funds to get a new rear end to run 33's and a lift and all that goes with the higher lifts for now.
this is my play vehical and cruiser. I am wanting a good 2-3ich lift, but when looking around so many are ragged on or they need way more parts, or they ride like crap...or death wobble.

So if anyone knows of a good 2.5 ish lift kit that won't break the bank and is a all around good lift, please let me know. Thanks for the suggestions.

rough country has a pretty good 2.5" lift for about $450

Nothing is foolproof to a sufficiently talented fool.
