What's it worth to ya?

Picked up a 1993 2.5L with 193k, both hard and soft tops. I've replaced the outboard rails, traverse support, the corresponding body mounts and 4 floor pans. Put a new starter and battery in. New muffler and tailpipe as well. It's got a 3.5 inch superlift and 31x10.5x15 tires. Also a sound bar. Diamond plate rocker skins going on soon and I'm going to get it inspected before I sell it.

What's the ball park value? I'd add some pictures if it was all done. I'm just trying to get a feel also I'm in Rhode Island. Any help is appreciated. Very new to jeeps the market is tough to decipher. I'm always way off when I try to value them. I'm 2k into it I was hoping for 4k. Is that realistic?

A lot of miles, mention a lot of rust replacement which tells me there is more.... Possibly covering up rust with adding chrome rocker panels. " generally the only reason anyone does that" no offense intended but it sounds like a rusty jeep so without pics which makes a drastic drop in my opinion price.... Maybe $3,000 at most

It would probably go for like $4-5k in NM. Not sure about across the country though.

No I am covering some rust with those panels. I reinforced the insides of the rockers with 1/8" plate steel. The rockers are probably the worst part of the jeep. Just I'm afraid my body work skills would make it even worse than it is now. The rust was pretty contained to... well the whole inside of the floor haha.

Anyone else have any ideas price targets?

I do like bigearl's number's haha

I agree with mijeeper80, there are a lot of red flags surrounding rust issues. To me it's worth zip, but to some (dumb) young buck looking for his first cool ride it may be worth a little more. I'd market it on the cool factor (lift, sound bar, include topless pics). You're probably looking for a high school kid who wants to work on cars/trucks. Maybe list it at $4000? A few pictures would help evaluate it a lot. I don't think you'll have any problem getting $2500+, but I don't know your market... Good luck! And post some pics!

I do live within line of sight of the local high school. I'd like to see it move fast because this is what's going to provide the spending cash to get through this next year of college.

Yes, but it would not have the rust if it was from N.M. like it does being from R.I.!

I'm saying in the state it is now, I've seen some ugly resto jobs for sale out here lol, it would go for that price I'd be willing to bet. Edit- by state I mean it's condition, not location. That may have been confusing.

That's a reasonable price for your Jeep, better pics needed to sell it though.

Thanks for the help. And yeah I'll take some when I'm actually ready to sell it LOL I've only had it on the road for a day or so. I'm going to get it inspected and bring it down to the beach for a day or two with a for sale sign

The mirror on the hood is a bit confusing. I could understand them if the doors were off and no side mirrors but they're there. Anyway, that price would be in line in North Carolina. Good luck w/ it!
