Wiper linkage

Put in a new windshield frame and having difficulty reassembling the wiper linkage and motor I know how to install it but when the wiper blades are put on they are not moving in the right direction. I have reassembled several times and cannot seem to figure it out. Any suggestions

So the wipers are moving backwards? Parking upright ? Just pop off the wiper arms and lay them flat when the wipers are parked

The YJ always parks the wipers upright. The only way to change that is a kit for ridiculous $

I meant upright as in completely vertical... Not the angle. It has been a while since I had a yj, so my terminology wasn't as accurate as it should have been

Anyway, there is not much to the linkage and motor, so there isn't much to adjust

If they seem to be working right but just stopping in the wrong place, I'd pop the blades/arms off with a screwdriver and position them where you like.

theres a contact in the motor that leaves the power on till there parked sometimes it needs a cleaning.. could be the wiper switch also if its sweeping correct and you can park it by turning it off in the right spot..
