I don't not think there is an angry bird overlay. But I'm pretty sure there is an over priced, caveman grill overlay

I've only seen the angry bird grill overlays for jks and tjs. I have seen angry eyes (not sure if there's a big difference) overlays for the yj on eBay. Some people use electrical tape to create a similar effect. Its cheap and easily removed when you want to change the look again.

Welcome to the group! Its your jeep.. build it however you like. YJs are great fun!

Don't do that to your poor jeep by putting an angry bird anything on it.

its not that hard to do it yourself...

some masking tape and some plasti-dip spray paint...

kinda like eye liner... and remember, just like on women, just a little bit, goes a long way..

im guessing about 1" down on the inside, and slant it up to nothing on the upper outside corner...

just a touch... and if you don't like it, peel it off...

crap, i had a picture.. but can't find it now... Ill find it later

it is natural to identify objects with some type of personality... it is also natural to try to find/recognize a FACE or FACIAL features...

that is why we see a man on the moon... or Mars...on a grilled cheese sandwich ....

to add a little accent to finish that affect is not big deal... my only comment about it would be, that I find it funny, to spend hundreds of dollars for that affect...

I had left over paint, and tape, and it took me 15 minutes of time... so, it was a decent effort to complete an affect that makes some people smile or ask...

for those 'purest'.. I understand... but, I would bet money I could find something 'odd'/quirky about what they did to their build that I would think is a waste of time/effort for an affect that is equally less 'pure'....

to beat a point into someone about a choice they make or at the least, are interested in, is really a bit bully like...i.e. it's ok for someone to make a comment about it being 'silly' or worse, but for continued comments and comments about tutus and skirts, seems to go too far, and will push people away from community forums like this...

Lets just say they are not for everybody.

They are a form of expression.
Just like facial tattoos. You have the right to do it, but it doesn't mean you have to be taken seriously.

It's getting off topic in this thread now but I feel like the yj is nothing less than a person buying a 69 charger and throwing 20's on it because that's what all the 2012's are doing, it ain't right. I don't believe its bullying it's just simply not making our yj's "cool" and what's hip. I mean shit lets throw some stick figures in the back of our windshields to show off how many children we have that nobody cares about. YJ's are a classic now to make them a fad or into something "2015" is just not my idea of cool

Lol not gonna lie I did angry eyes to my XJ back in 2010 (back when electrical tape was your only option) .. Took them off a couple days later. We all go through a phase of rebellion. I say we let him do it

$325.00 plus tax and shipping and the cost to paint it VS. $1.00 worth of tape.

Pretty much a no brainer. With the tape, you won't feel bad getting rid of the look after your Jeeping buddies ROTFL. You can say it was for Halloween.

Good Luck, L.M.

$325 goes a long way towards a head light upgrade..but that's a great thing about Jeeps it's yours to do what you want to with it...and it's OK if others dont like..
That's what makes Jeeps great!
