Yj intermitent start prob

Hi I have a 92 yj 4.0 5 spd 145000 miles .I bought it new and drive it to work not much off road and it is all stock. That being said @ 3 weeks ago wouldn't start gave it a shot of either started and ran good. I changed fuel pump and it was good for 2 days and same thing. So I changed the crank position sensor and it was good for 2 days and same thing but this time it had spark but fuel pump didn't turn on.I let it sit for 3 days it started. I am at a loss,It is parked in a heated garage and it does it inside or outside in 30 degree weather. Any help is app.

Wow. Could be anything...A faulty ignition switch, bad relays, computer problems, poor ground on the battery...

So let me get this straight... Does it crank? Does it have fire? What exactly does the Jeep do when it won't start?

See (89 Wrangler 4.2 need help). Maybe it's the Ignition Control Module. They go bad and maybe causing your problem. Inexpensive and easy to replace.

It turns over and has spark but doesn't start. Fuel pump doesn't turn on and gas gauge pegs and it won't start. If I give it a few minutes, few hours or days and try it will start and run good and I will drive it to work @ 75 mph for @ 35 minutes then when I come out of work @ 9 hours later it may start or may not. Sometimes when it won't I give it a shot of either and it will start and run good .
