YJ Rampage soft top issues

So I just installed my Rampage soft top for my 1993 wrangler s, but I'm having a few minor issues. The first is that the top does not seem to want to stay in the belt rails on the side...It will stay but as soon as some wind hits it they seem to always come out and it is as tight as I can get it.

2nd, I got some door frames off of another wrangler and the supplied door skins dont fit on these frames and also do not allow the door to be shut with them on. Do I have to buy the Rampage 89699 frames? Are the frames specific for this soft top? any help would be great!

Did you buy new hardware with the top? What top did you have on it before?

I have the same top and had an issue a couple of days ago when I put the top back on after running with it off a few days. The side window on one side kept popping out at the bottom. It turned out it wasn't in the channel behind the door good enough. as soon as I made sure it was tight in that channel, it stayed in. No more problem. I have more problems with the snaps than anything.

Sorry, I didn't finish......after you put the window in the channel behind the door, put it in the bottom channel and then make sure you pull the window back towards the rear of the jeep to make sure it is tight. It should stay.......Hope that isn't confusing!

Explain why the doors won't close. Do they hit at the top right corners or are your frames slightly bent somewhere?
As for the top I had to buy a new hardware kit for my Rampage top and it top it took some pulling here and there to get both sides evenly tight. Those aftermarket hardware kits are not the best. Are your rear bows-I think that's what they are called-in the full upright position? Mine did not want to lock upright sometimes and caused the same problem your are having.

They dont seem to want to close on the side most towards the hood. They close about halfway and thenseem to get hung up on the top of where the window should be. Do you thi k i just need to look a little closer?

update

So i got the new frames which are MUCH different than any other frames ive seen. But of course i have another issue! Thry fit great except for they frames dont seem to go do down all the way into the door, more towards the front. The window cover have the channel in it that would go into the belt rail on the door but i dont even see how that would be possible given that the frame does not seat all the way down i to the door
