Yj to tj

Wanted everyone's thoughts. I have a 2.5 1992 I run most days as my daily. It's fine around town, but I travel a lot on around 3-5 hour trips throughout Texas and tonOklahoma. For that I take my Mazda3. But, I want to run a jeep full time and have been thinking about switching to a tj, lj, or xj. The softer ride and a 4.0 would be nice, and being able to do 65-75 on the highway would be nice. What are people's opinions? Could I add a different lift to make it more manageable? I'm running a 2.5 in lift with 31's and the Dana 35 with stock gearing. I believe the lift is a rough country.

All feedback is welcome!

They are all good choices.

XJ (or KK) cherokee is the best for the road trip. Followed by the LJ.

Stock tires & height will allow your speed requirements in your current YJ

0" Bilstein shocks, standard springs & passenger rated tires will give the best ride the YJ is capable of.

It will never perform like a car, but it was never built for fast acceleration & speed.
