True. And in the parking lot too.

TJs check them out if their modded
CJs check them out if they're kinda nice
YJs check them all out. Some more than others.

JKs and newer, Meh! Out of my league.

New one from my son yesterday....ĒLetís take tools with in case we have to fix it in the parking lotĒ as we drove to the parts store to get a replacement for a problem we had.

We made it home for the fix, but did have to pop the hood after getting gas to get it going.

When driving down the road you can pick out the new creak/rattle/crack/bang that wasn't there yesterday. Of course any of the former would have a new(er) Jeep in the shop immediately.

Look under jeep for leaks before getting in and check hood latches are secure.

My brother was in the Army back in the '70s and was a radio operator and jeep driver for his captain and once said he was glad he had his helmet on when he forgot to latch the hood and it flew up with the windshield and bounced on his helmet while driving.

You go for a quick drive down the local dirt road and when you get home, you notice your tool bag on the front bumper.

Son was digging around in the gang box in the YJ, looking for a snap ring tool last night and this morning I took off for the grocery store and found several wrenches on the front bumper and when I returned and saw his prized authentic large Cresent wrench, given to him by Granpa laying on the driveway.
Still have the sway bar hook up.
