Started the lift work today.

- parking brake relocated
- rear shocks, springs and sway bar links removed
- hole drilled for new rear track bar mount

Cold and other activities halted work for today.

Making progress on the lift.

Got my MetalCloak evap relocation bracket installed.

Finished the rear suspension. Started the front before we called it a night.

I will be interested to see your finished project, because I traded my 2010 hunter green sahara in at the end of 2017 for my current wrangler, and that thing stayed stock from Day 1 until the day I traded it in.

I had had a heavily modded, 2 door manual black TJ that I absolutely adored, and traded it in for the 4 door sahara JK because I had kids on the way. And while I loved it because it was a wrangler, I never fell in love with it, because it was 4 doors, it was automatic, and it was sahara trim, and with the young ones on the way, felt a need to keep it stock.

So I am curious to see how yours turns out, and think of what could have been if I had just let myself have fun with it, instead of sulking over what I had lost!!!

Was a very busy weekend. Worked on most of the front suspension. Put the new shoes on and torqued everything to spec. Went for a short drive in the neighborhood and ran into two problems, going straight the steering wheel was to left about 80 degrees and after 20mph the tracktion control kicked in. As we were fixing the steering wheel I remembered that the Wrangler has sensors in the streering wheel. Once we fixed that she was ready to roll. Feels great, drives great.

AEV 3.5 dualsport SC with 315/75R17 wheels lifted the body 6".

Also installed the MetalCloak rear diff armor tonight.

More to come.

Looking great! Awesome selection of upgrades. That Metalcloak skid is really nice. I purchased the Rough Country front and rear about 6 months ago. If i would have known Metalcloak was going to release a set, I would have waited.

It's been a while since I posted an update. I install a Bestop NX Glide soft top. That pretty much is going to wrap up my mods for now. I may post a few pictures of the Jeep in bikini mode with no doors and the temp mirrors but that won't be until we go west.
