Next thing to add to the growing list of items sitting in my garage that need to be installed.

This is what happens when you have a blow out first quarter at work. More Jeep parts. Genright cage on order. I probably will not get it installed until later this year, but I got a really good deal on it so couldn't pass it up. Im going to for the b-pillar delete kit too.

I finally decided to stop procrastinating and install some of the goodies I bought from Northridge on their Black Friday sale. And I about to make a major Jeep transformation. As much as I love the AEV stuff it just doesn't work well with 37" tires. Just ordered an entire Poison Spyder brawler lite front and rear bumpers with tire carrier, inner fender liners, Brawler lite skid plate and hi-lift mount.

Ten Factory axle shafts
Adams front drive shaft
Front Currie Antirock (rear one should be here today)

Next on the list
PSC HD steering box
ARB twin compressor - under driver seat
and all the new Poison Spyder goods when they get here.
Also the Genright cage is in, but that will be a few months down the road before it gets installed.

Gearbox installed. Not completely fastened down but got it on the frame. That was the hardest part.

And some more progress on operation Jeep AEV to Poison Spyder update. First I took it for a test run to check out the new PSC XD steering gear box. WOW is all I can say. You can turn the 37s with 1 finger. The steering is no longer sloppy and it seems to track better.

Next on to the front PS fenders and liners. These are a royal pain in the ass to install, but I am also doing it solo. I have heard from a few shops the vented screens tend to rattle. I put a bead of high heat RTV around the area the screen would touch and then bolted it in place. I don't expect rattling to be much of a problem with that change.

The Poison Spyder transformation is almost complete. One more evening in the garage should take care of this part of the project. All that is left for now is the dual ARB compressor. In a couple of months I will have the Genright cage installed.

This is looking amazing! Quite a beast you are building, keep up the great work It sounds like the PCS steering box is a great upgrade for the 37's. How do you like the MT-R's?

I agree with Steven, your jeep is getting very beastly! I love all the changes and look forward to seeing the cage when to do that as well.

I bought the MT-Rs with 3k miles on them. The previous owner did not like them so I got a pretty good deal on them. I have only put 1000 miles on them but so far I am very happy with them. I like them a lot and would definitely buy them again.

Not done, but as done as I am going to be for a few days. It seems like it took a day and half to install the driver side flare but only took about 2 1/2 hours to do the passenger side. There are couple of knurled nuts up in the passenger side flare that are nearly impossible to install. A little duct tape and a boxed in wrench made it fairly easy. I still need to put the J.W. driving lights back in, relocate the license plate and a few other odds and ends I should be able to knock out tonight. I have the PS full length rear corners and the PS bumper skid plate that needs to be installed and will require some cutting of the crash bar. That will happen sometime in the next couple of weeks.

Removing AEV corners and replacing with Poison Spyder corners. Also picked up a fairly cheap hard top for Winter use.

Posion Spyder transformation complete. I am pretty happy with the results. I made some mistakes but most of them only I will notice. They are minimal and only affect my OCD problem. LOL. I worked on it pretty late last night and had enough energy to build the hard top cart to help remove the hard top.

Paptrick - Great looking Jeep. Must truly be a Just Empty Every Pocket though. I heard a sucking sound while I was looking over your photos.....the sound of a wallet being sucked clean. LOL

No doubt. It definitely helps being able to do a lot your self but it is definitely a money suck. I guess there are worse things to dump money in to.

It is now ready to take it to the shop for the cage. I am also going to have the inside line-x'd which should look pretty good I think. I spent a fair amount of time today cleaning the inside out and finding enough change under the seat to pay for the cage. Not quite. So in store for this week.

Cage will get installed
Cage will be powder coated to match the wheel. Level 8 Bully Pro wheels (matte gray)
B pillar delete kit installed
Line-x the interior

When it gets back from the shop

rear Currie Anti-Rock (front is already installed)
Alpine 209-WRA restyle kit (probably not until July)
oil, diff and other fluids changed in prep for Moab trip in August.

Beautiful work, really appreciate the detail and level of execution on your build! Maybe we'll see you on the trails in Moab this summer. Are you planning on driving the Jeep out to Moab?

Driving out first week in August. Working on the logistics of shipping 3 Jeeps back and flying on the return.

Added a new Alpine i209-WRA. I installed this the day before we left for Colorado and Utah. Nothing like a last minute restyle kit to make the trip. Front and rear cameras came in handy.

Just ordered Radflo racing bypass shocks. Cant wait to get these installed.
Next on the list will be a Dynatrac D60 rear axle.
