2017 Billet Silver Metallic 2 door JK Sport 'Lil Devil build.

Hello, and welcome to my Build thread, I'll try to keep this first post up to date with a list of mods and a picture.

This is the first Jeep I have ever owned, bought it new in January of 2017 and it had an OHV sticker on it before plates!

I have read a bunch on this forum and used it to research parts and such, so I figured I would add to the collective knowledge.

Stay tuned for the write-ups!

Antenna X Off road antenna

This was the first change I made to my JK. I just really didn't like the factory silver one.

As far as installations go, this one was pretty simple, unscrew the original, screw the new one in.

I have not seen an appreciable difference in reception with the new antenna, I lose my stations perhaps 5 or 10 miles sooner than I did with the original. (this is when travelling around 70 miles or so from my normal stomping grounds)

If anyone is in the Portland area, I am able to keep picking up Portland stations into Browns Camp, and down past Salem, so I am happy with the performance.

Plus the New look:

Is way sexier than the stock:

Bartact padded center console cover

After researching seat covers for awhile (there are multiple dogs who ride in my cars) I decided to go with Bartact, so while I waited to buy those, I picked up a couple of other items to go with them.

First up was the padded center console cover.

Installation was as simple as it gets. Slide it over.

I like the look, it goes with the seat covers well, and I like that it protects the center console from dog claws as well.

Weather Tech Front floor mats

I have had weather tech floor mats in a number of cars now, I don't think the performance of these mats can be overstated, they are deep and fit well. After some trips to mud, snow and sand, my carpets still look good, floor mats are doing their job.

10/10 would recommend to a friend.

Installation was a 0 /10

You keeping the stock suspension and tires, or do you have bigger plans?

I plan to go with a 2.5" lift and 33's for awhile, then eventually upgrade to 37's.

Bartact Seat Covers

Got the seat covers in and installed. Installation was very straight forward, and reasonably simple, The covers fit very tightly, so they look great, but take some working to get them on.

And I have already found many uses for the Molle system on the back of the covers.

10/10 Would definitely recommend these seat covers to anyone, they are certainly not the cheapest option. But in my mind they cannot be beaten for quality.

Window Tint

Had my windows tinted at TrendsettersPDX in NE Portland. I was very happy with the pricing and service, especially as I hate having anyone else work on my stuff.

I was very happy with all aspects of my interaction at Trendsetters.
