Those new wheels are sweet! Unrelated question, but what do you take your pictures with? They are fantastic

Thanks Andrew! Mostly, I'm shooting with a Nikon D850. My go to lens is a 24-70mm f2.8 Nikkor. I occasionally will shoot with my iPhone as well. I run all my photos through Adobe Lightroom.

Hey Stephen, when I had my bead locks balanced I brought them to this place that not only does car and truck tires but also does agricultural tires, industrial truck tires, and Mack truck tires. They have nice road force balance machines and they didn’t bat an eye when I told him I had beadlocks.

Thanks Rich, that's some good insight! I'm hoping my shop doesn't have an issue with doing them. It seems to come down to a perceived liability of a beadlock.

I spoke with the shop manager at Dixie yesterday. He told me they balance them on a road force machine like any other tire/wheel.

I'm jealous! I'm feeling the credit card creep out of my wallet, and there's a little voice in my head saying to do it. But then reality hits and the bigger voice in my head is my wife's. Hate it when reality comes along...

While they look great, my OCD wouldn't allow me to get 5 lug wheels with 6 spokes. Would have to be 5 or 10 spokes.

But, if you look at the split in the spokes it looks like 12. Five from 12 is seven.. so now you have 5,6,7.

That literally made me laugh out loud and spit out coffee. Looking at it head on like that makes the lugs and bead bolts look nice and balanced. I'm back on the band wagon.

Are you going to paint the bead and bolts to match your trim color or leave black?

I got the beads back from the powder coaters last evening. I'm doing the same Kingsport Grey as I used on my current set. This powder has a wonderful light to dark play to it. Here's a quick look at that coming together...

5 lugs
6 or 12 spokes (depending on how you look at them)
24 beadlock bolts

I'm out.

And the 6 lug pic is a bit misleading isn't it?
