New Sound System

Hello, in May I bought a 2015 Rubicon with 18k on it. The PO had all the xtras put into this including the alpine upgrade stereo with the 430 N head unit. I didn't mind the alpine system but the 430 head unit was awful. I decided to start all over again with the stereo system. Below is what I got and it sounds awesome. Expensive, but awesome. I'm kind of a stereo snob since my last two vehicles, which one was an 09 JK, had nice aftermarket stereo systems installed in them. Once you have a really nice system you get spoiled. I'm not a big base guy since I listen to music that really doesn't require a thumping base. I just like nice clean, loud sound. I kept the stock Alpine subwoofer for now and the base seems good enough. Maybe I'll upgrade that later on depending if I can get a new subwoofer in a good place that doesn't take up any room since I have a 2 door. Please ask any questions.

Kicker QS Series 6.5 Component Speakers(4 crossovers under drivers seat), also used Dynamat around all speakers.

Add a d class amp and 8” or 10” pioneer shallow mount subs in a small box. Tons of kick at reasonable price. Fits easily behind rear seat in 2 door JK with room to spare.

I have an Alpine PWE-S8 compact powered sub woofer in my 2-door. Fits just about anywhere. I like to have good base sounds but I don't need it too loud. I usually turn it down 3 or four clicks on the remote.
