The Last JK

My 2018 JK Build.....So far
Just purchased my first New vehicle and my first JK. Thought I would share what I've done so far. I didnt waste much time driving it in stock mailman form. Ive done all my own work.
Check your selling dealer. You may be able to pickup take off parts on the cheap. I got a new soft top and and running boards cheap!
-Rancho 2 inch lift with 9000 series adjustable shocks. Came with caster correction brackets.
-Rough Country adjustable front swaybar links. I will need to shorten the shaft to get proper swaybar angle
-Ultimate Dana 44 front axle with 4 88 gear and elocker. Nice option for my intended use. Had to remove the Rancho caster correction brackets. The UD 44 comes built with caster correction. I had too much positive caster. 4.5 after removing.
-Dana 44 rear. G2 4.88 gear and chromoly axle shafts. Eaton Elocker.
-KMC machete beadlocks. 3.5 inch backspace 17 inch. Tires mounted up easily
-Cooper STT Pros 317/70/17 tires
-E Auto Grills bumpers. Think they are same as Barricade. Powdercoating seems ok. Easy install. Seem pretty rugged. You will need to lengthen fog light wires. On the rear swing out handle partially obscures lisence plate. I modified the tire carrier taking the bracket off cutting a hole where it was mounted and put it through the back side with spacers. Now my 3.5 backspace wheel and tire fit snug against framework. Much stronger.
-Harbor Frieght 12k winch upgraded with Dyneema synthetic line, aluminum fairlead, thimble. Remove gear cover and add synthetic grease. Paint with good paint to keep rust monster away.
-Quadratec 6 inch floods and 4 inch spots. Got them with harness for easy install. Nice construction and bright. Mounts could be better however. No ratcheting adjustments. Use locking nuts.
-Superchips Flashpak removed tpms. Adjusted shift points and speedo. Make sure you measure actuall tire diameter. Set mine at 33.5 inch
-Opar grab handles. Heavy duty!
-Rough Country floor liners and sill plates
-Rough Country A pillar switches for lights and lockers. Added a master switch for lockers so as not to accidently engage.
-Dual Yellow Top batteries going in next.
This is addicting. This must be what a woman in a shoe store feels like.

I think the UPS and Fed Ex guys have carried half a jeep from out of their truck to my door. The 2018 JKU is starting to take shape. It will be tested this summer in Ouray and Moab. I wanted to send out another post for anyone considering rock sliders. I would recomend frame mount. The VKS sliders I got today are really nice! You will know you purchased a quality piece when you see these. The welds are great. I almost hate to paint them.

Full skid plate system installed. Vks rock sliders on. Those fit really nice. 2 inch Rancho lift dialed in. I'm happy how its turned out. Looking forward to trying it out on our trip to Ouray/Moab. I think the next thing on the list is a cb.

Finally warm enough to put the summer clothes on the jeep. Installed the Rugged Ridge tube doors and Alien Sunshade, Quadratec quick release mirrors. I didnt want the mirrors that attached to the door. Now I can go doorless and still have mirrors.
Next is putting soft top back on folded down with a boot. Anyone have a storage boot they recomend?
Also going to build a trunk cover. I cant find one I like at a reasonable price.
