Thrasher 5280's 2011 JKUR COD Black Ops Ed.

After six years away from Jeeps and off-roading I picked up my sixth Wrangler in April of 2017. This one has been the most unreliable money pit of the bunch!

There really isn't any "wow factor" parts on the Jeep, I am trying really hard to just focus on a building a function over form trail runner. I have had rigs that could contort like a Chinese acrobat before and I just do not have that kind of time or cash anymore. But here is what I have so far:

  • AEV 2.5" DualSport XT Suspension System
  • .75" Front Coil Spacers (installed but not pictured)
  • AEV Premium Front Bumper
  • AEV Rear Bumper / Tire Carrier
  • Toyo Open Country 35" Tires
  • Rock Hard 4x4 Rock Sliders (not pictured)
  • Quadratec Aluminum Engine / Transmission Skid
  • Quadratec Steel Evap Canister Skid Plate
  • JKS Track Bar
  • Teraflex Steering Stabilizer
  • ARB Steering Stabilizer Relocation Bracket
  • AntennaX 13" Antenna
  • OEM Tire Tread Floor Mats
  • Amazon Grab Handles
  • 10" LED Bumper Light Bar
I will add more pics as I add more parts!

Now with 3/4" coil spring spacers up front to level out the rake and Rock Hard 4X4 Rock Sliders, which I got at a great price with the Quadratec forum member discount.

One more time with pic!

Awesome build! I like the simplicity as that's the aim of my build. Are you running 1.5" wheel spacers?

Thank you! Even on the crazier builds I have done in the past I still try to keep them fairly simple. I even like to keep elements of a stock look (like keeping OEM wheels when possible for example).

The previous owner put spacers on and I forgot to measure the last time I had the wheels off. I'd say maybe even 2" spacers from this pic I took while installing a track bar and coil spring spacers last week.

Little bit more of a level look at the stance.

I need more lift...just one more inch, I swear!

Milestar Patagonia MT

New tires! I kept hearing great things about the Milestar Patagonia MT and at $207 each at Discount Tire I decided to give them a shot. They are smooth and quiet on the road and I can't wait to test them on the rocks.

My buddy just put a set of those on in 37's and did a road trip from Montana to Arizona said they did great. I might have to pick up a set just for offroading

Nice upgrades, you will love the Yeti products! Have a great trip to Moab, do you have your trails picked out yet?

Not yet. I think this makes my sixth trip to Moab an I've done all the usual trails already. I am going alone (no other Jeeps, just a girlfriend), only there for a limited time and something doesn't quite seem right with my Jeep, not to mention I don't have a lot of trail time with it yet to see how it performs. Given all of that I think I am going to play it safe and do some easier trails, Fins N Things, Poison Spider, maybe Hell's Revenge and take some bypasses. I am going to dig into my Well's book for Moab and look for something I haven't done yet that might be safe yet interesting.
