Here she is after doing the lift myself this past weekend. Gobi rack, JCR front/rear, with skid and tire carrier enroute as we speak!

How are you liking the AEV 2.5" lift?

It rides super smooth. But the install was a PITA, instructions from AEV were awful and need amending in spots. But I really like the product.

New front end from JCR. Rear hopefully on the way soon and then the GOBI install.

I'd recommend anyone planning on going JCR for the front to do a different style of vacuum pump relocation. Ideally to the engine bay. It's a tight fit and the drilling measurements weren't listed and kind of a pain.

I love the look of the logo blacked out. How were you able to tape everything so you didn't get black in between the lettering and onto the grill itself?

Looks fantastic!

This is what she's looking like now a days, need to wire reverse lights with JCR rear bumper and my relocated 3rd brake light. Other than hat I'll be at a stopping point until light bar, hoop lights and winch.

Looks great! I love JCR bumpers but I wish they came in aluminum. Did you notice any drop in your front with the steel bumper?

Definitely. I installed an AEV 2.5" (3" up front 2" in the rear) lift to compensate and it's completely level now with the front and rear. But the skid and front bumper with stock suspension would have had killer rake.

More pictures please! Great build so far... Trying to find a manual tank myself. How's the gobi rack treating you?

I'll definitely take some more soon! But I love the Gobi rack, super functional, sturdy and very quiet on the road. But I used to have a TJ with a rack, so anything is quiet to me lol.

Not at all, t tops are the same time, taking whole top off is just 4 bolts. Adds a total of an extra 5 minutes tops.
