JeffJ 2004 Rubicon Build Thread

I had to go with 35” after my 3 1/2” rubicon express long arm kit was installed. I also had to remove my stock spare tire holder and 3rd light. Having no choice but to go with a heavy duty swing arm from rampage for my heavy tire. I found a LED rugged ridge brake lights ring and to looks great. 😎 Item number J107958

Here are some before and after pictures. I am sorry I can’t find my before picture. Ugh but you can imagine my top being spice and trim black. This look is much better I think.

TJ LED Halo headlights

I just had to have me some of those cool halo headlights. I went with Orbital Halos model TJ (H4) life time warranted. I am in need to find some LED bumper light to fit in my rampage bumper so they will match my headlights. Anyone out there have rampage bumpers? Anyone know where I can find some LED halo lights that’s for my bumpers. 😎

TJ front brakes upgraded
My stock brakes seem to be a handful for my 35”. I shopped around and decided to go with Vanco super 16” brake kit. It comes with. *Left and right steering knuckles, New without brackets. *Left and right large 54mm dual pistons calipers. *Black magic brake pads. *Centric premium rotors, pre-drilled and slotted with centering rings. *A large master cylinder with 1 1/6” bore. *Hardware *Instructions The braking is much better.

I have a picture of my Jeep with 33’s and before my 3 1/2” Rubicon express long arm kit. I have a picture of my Jeep after long arm was installed. This is why I had to buy more wheels and tires. I was expecting maybe a inch higher not 2 1/2”.
