Tj build in Philippines

Hi this is my third jeep build that i will post in this forum. Luckily i jad a chance to find a 1997 jeep tj here and it is a gift fron a friend. This model is very hard to come by. if you find one here “it’s not for sale” or you’ll have a headache for the price. To start i ordered parts from US offcoarse

1997 jeep tj sahara 4.0l automatic

Teraflex 4” lift kit

Conplete set of metalcloak set bumpers siding etc.

G2 rear core 44 axle assy. 4.88 gears/arb air locker

And bought a junk 2006 model tj in japan for an engine and tranny manual convertion ( some would ask, why not just build the 2006 model? It’s not registered and i cant use it on long drives passing national hi-ways)

2006 sport jeep in japan stripped to be shipped

Parts are pretty hard to come by. Suggestions and coments would be a compliment!

Sorry, can't help you identify it. But, have you contacted G2 to ask them?

Update!!!

Installed the teraflex shirt arm 4” lift and core44

Had a problem with the old front dana 44. The pumkin is on the passenger side. Will figure it out soon on what ti di with it. For the mean time we’ll just use the 30 front.

Now its time to cloack the front

Barrowed the centerline mags and tires of my CJ

Bought a trans oil cooler will run it first with the stock auto trans

really nice build. I am interested to see what you will do with the passenger side drop Dana 44. I guess you could go with a dana 300 of dana 20 transfer case.

Will stick first with the stock d30 will just replace the axle.

Will still have to wait 3 weeks to complete the build i ordered ring and pinion in quadratec because what i habe is a long pinion. We were shocked about the short pinion that a tj has. And we dint have it here.

We are having a hard time on our coz the brakes are to weak with a soft feeling. We removed the abs for good and installed a disc brake conversion.

Will just wait ti settle all of the pads to see if it adds

She looks great!!! The build really came together and I can't wait to see some pics of you testing her abilities off-road.

Good luck and don't forget to wave,

Jeff B.

Did you have to grind the knuckles to get the RCV's to fit?
