1988 Yj build years in the making.

Heard you guys so have a 1988 Jeep Wrangler YJ 4.2 inline 6 completely stock except for a 2.5 inch lift and 3 inch body lift and 35 inch Baja claw mud tires my plan I'm completely rebuilding it from the ground up complete new drive train all new electrical dana 44 and ford 8.8 axles with 4.88 gears and cable selectable ox lockers a ford t18 4 speed transmission and a atlas 4speed transfer case new drive shafts the works safer racing seats that will be lock tight and lock nut torqued in and a 5 point harness and rhino lined tub bumpers ect. rust preventative treatment to the frame and tub. New dials it has a cj dash kit which I love and ill probably remove the heater core and cables and put different toggle switches and buttons for different things in their place and take the labels that was originally there and rename them lol. This will take a long time and money and effort because I am going to do everything I can myself except for things that require tools that I don't have. This will be more of my off days around town and trails toy so bare essential stuff for street legal and completely mechanically sound proof. I am going to hot dip my spare 258 4.2 I6 and rehone it and swap the head with a edelbrock 4.0 and run a Clifford's dual weber carburetor setup and eventually replace those with mc2100 carburetors I will need to figure out how to water proof all the old school technology because I love working on old school points ignition carburetors ect.
