1989 Jeep Wrangler - Wiring Help!

Hey guys, I am looking to brighten up the interior of my YJ cause at night you can't see anything in there. I have to use my phone flashlight in order to find my aux cord !! So I ordered some LED light bulbs to put behind the gauges to let me see the gauges better, something I know I can do easily. I also ordered LED light strips to go under the dash on both the passenger side and drivers side. How would I wire these LED strips to turn on simultaneously with the gauge lights and headlights. I want it to work in a way that when the gauge lights are on, the LED strips are on. Anybody know how I can make this happen? Or will I have to mount a separate switch :/

J.E.E.P simply stands for "Just Empty Every Pocket"... learned that through experience.

Pull your power from your dimmer switch or any of the bulb sockets you will be pulling out...not sure about the 89 but my 90 has small light hanging down above the tranny tunnel thay shines on the floor...replacing it with a LED really helped...
