Dad's daily

Well I'm adding another YJ build to the forum portion of this site. As the title of my forum write up you might be able to guess why the title is what it is. My father passed away August 8, 2017 at the young age of 46. He bought this YJ with me and my wife (girlfriend at the time) in 2014. In my father's memory I wanted to post everything that I do to the jeep so over the years I can look back on it and I thought how awesome it would be to help my jeep family out or give them ideas along the way. My dad had already done a great job on this build so far I just want to take his build above and beyond what he could have ever imagined. So if you would/could follow this build and watch it go from my dad's daily to a V8, one ton axle, coilover, long arm suspension, stretched wheelbase YJ.

The Jeep is a 1994 Jeep YJ 2.5L. It currently sits on a 3" body lift with 33x12.5x15 mudstar tires with pacer stimulated Braddock wheels. I'm currently a welder helper with a natural gas pipeline line company out of SC. All the welding will be done by me and all of the major mechanic work will be done by my amazing father-in-law who is a master auto mechanic.

My condolences on your father's passing. Very cool that you are dedicating this build to him. Look forward to following the process.

I hope the build helps deal with the pain from your loss. May his hand help guide you through the build cause you know he will be watching. Your his son and that's HIS Jeep!
