New to me jeep yj 95, 130k on it very little rust and small frame patch work.

Paid $1700 for a running driving jeep with working gauges and a heater I figure thats a win for me. (came with new 4.56 gears, had plugs battery alternator and wires all changed in the last month)

This is my 5th jeep project and will be more of a Sunday driver than hardcore rig.

Plans:
33's
small lift 2.5, maybe 4?
no flares?
fix up small rust spots and paint fades
get it regeared since i have them.

Sounds like you scored! Keep us posted on the build.
How about some pics?

Good Luck, L.M.

So I got into the boxes of what i thought were 4.56 gears. looks like used 411's so maybe they're already on the jeep. Going to have to jack it up and check it the old school way.

Other than that some better stock exterior pics, the thought of an LS swap is also creeping in.... :pc-ouch:

Got the bumpers off and back seat out for weight reduction, I'll be looking at some AL bumpers for decent protection but low weight cost.

Got my tire in to check lift requirements, I could honestly trim these flares and run them but going to get a 1.5" shackle lift and call it a day with some new shocks.

And figured id take a photo next to my other DD, 11 f250 deleted 6" lift on 37.135r24

I don't super like green but I do also have a motorcycle that matches too

Thanks guys, project for this weekend is get the spare tire carrier pulled. Probably going to have to go to tire discounters and give someone 10 bucks since it has an internally toothed security lug nut on the spare and no key.

Or ill just take a hole saw to the rim and call it a day.
