I have so far. I'm 54 and have wanted a jeep since I was 16. I getting this ready to take to Az and leave it there, but I've been having so much fun I might have to get another one.

If you take that Jeep to Arizona, you'd better get a sun shade. A hat might keep your scalp from turning red, but you won't be able to hold onto the steering wheel if you leave it parked in the AZ sun.

I really like the wrap. It kinda looks like mud. Was it expensive?

Good luck, L.M.

12K Badlands winch with dual batteries.
Warn front bumper. Matching imitation Warn bumper on the rear.

Thanks, I got one of the mesh Bimini tops, The wrap turned out better than I expected. $2000 with 8 year warranty. I made a neat steering wheel wrap out of camo para cord. I've got my 69 chevelle there now and that black wheel gets pretty hot and it's a hardtop!

I got rid of the 33s and put on a set of 31.5x10.5x15 on steel wheels, also replaced water pump all hoses and thermostat. Also replaced the stock radiator with an all aluminum one (no plastic tanks) got my Gun mount built. Next is SYE and drive shafts, and rear brakes. Should be taking it to AZ in February.

That's quite a gun mount.
The rattlers in the AZ desert won't stand a chance. If that's full auto, your ammo bill will be more than your gasoline bill.

Good Luck, L.M.

Just a semi (Washington state)but it still costs more to feed than the jeep.

I ordered up my SYE and a lokka locker for the front D30 the D35 in the rear is a LSD got a set of FSM's from e-bay on the way. So when it starts raining here at the end of the month I'll get her on the hoist.
1)rear brake cylinders and shoes (ones leaking)
2)SYE & CV driveshaft
3) replace transfercase chain (while I'm doing the sye)
4) Front drive line U-jouints if needed
5)Locker up front and any other front axel maintenance as needed
6) remove track bars

If anyone has suggestions of other maintenance and/or mods while I'm there please let my know. Once I take it to AZ I won't have a place to do any major repairs so I'm trying to cover my bases now so I don't have to pay some shop to do it later.

Put the top & doors on today, going to rain tomorrow. I painted the door panels and dash a couple weeks ago and made steering wheel cover and door pulls out of para cord.

I like the smaller tires on there, they're much more appropriate for the amount of lift you have. I'll bet it drives a lot better too. Looks good, keep at it.
