Here are pictures of the stubborn sway bar end link bolt, the start of the bump stop on the front axle, vs it with the lift. Just around 2" to 6". I used the 2.5" Rubicon Express, and got some grease able +1" lift shackles. Also, tossed in the Bilstein 5100 shocks as well. So 3.5" all together, but the OE springs were sooo toast, it netted me 4" of lift.

Things needed to finish up in this stage: install the transfer case drop ( just found out I got some Driveline vibes, only on coast, clutch in and it stops, accel no problems.) Finish doing the Poly body-bushing kit, trimming the rest of the wheels wells, and maybe doing a knuckle over steering with a drop pitman arm I hear XJ arms are longer? My steering wheel is now clocked like 90 degrees to the right with the lift in. Also break line extensions, need to get installed, with a bleed/flush and in doing the wheels and tires, found the front rotors and calipers look pretty cooked, so on brake line extension install I think front brake overhaul is also gonna happen.

After all these are done, I will drive the snot out of it, and drop in some nicer seats and spruce up the dash a little bit, when the dash is out the blue LED instrument lights will drop in. As well as perhaps some speakers and a radio. And finally get around to the LED blinker fix... Somewhere in there is the first oil change and a rear main seal as well. Got the Black RTV for that. Then I will drive it like I stole it until something breaks!

8.8

Alrighty! Got seats, center console, brake line extensions, and Plasma gauges in, (that was kind of a fiasco). Also picked up this guy!

A '98 Ford Explorer rear end with a 8.8 and a LSD. So now, I need to poke along to rebuild that guy!
