Need perspective on a possible new engine

Our 95 currently has a 258 that threw rods while in the hands of I thought a capable mechanic. Nonetheless, my son and I are trying to learn as much as possible and do what we can ourselfs to save miney but become better Jeep owners.
If the link below works, does this look like a good place to start, that we could help get this engine ready for install without a ton of crazy work? Or out of my mind...
