The 94 Creation

Here's to the new build! 1994 2.5l 5 Speed. 4.88 gears. 4 1/2" BDS Suspension & 33x12.50 Duratracs on 15x8 Beadlocks.

New project. Drove 3 hours each way to trade my 97 Cherokee for it. Wheels are off my XJ. The front bumper & hitch are welded on. I plan on cutting the booger welds and removing them. As well as the seats are from a CJ7. The hardtop has been sanded to make the soft door uppers close easier. I will be repairing the holes in the hardtop. Rear driveshaft has been cut and welded. Looks bent & way too small. It's also welded to the yoke. So I have a SYE ordered. As well as the upgraded yoke. I will be removing the shims since the yoke is pointed way to high up. But here's for another fun build!

I ended up cutting the rear bumperettes off. Yes cut them off. Because the PO welded them on as well as bolted. Realized there's NO transmission mount on it. As well as in both drivers side shocks aren't tight at all.

Lol some people. I lost it when I read "welded to the yoke". Any other plans for it?

I have JCR 1 ton UTK steering sitting around currently. So that might end up on it. I'm debating on bumpers currently. I love stingers. But I'm not too sure on rear.

Gotta cut the hitch the rest of the way off. As well as grind the cuts flat on the crossmember. I have boomerang shackles coming for front and rear. And gotta do some body work on the rust.

SYE should be in today. Waiting on the rear yoke as well. Gotta get some grinding wheels to finish the rear area where I cut the bumperettes off. Looking for the correct u bolt size so I can pull these beat up u bolts off and take the ridiculous shims off in the rear. Picked up a transmission mount earlier.

Picked up corner armor. I'll be painting it black. (Junkyard find) as well as a CJ7 tailgate. And radiator with electric fans.

Front bumpers off. Of course there's steel welded across the front of the frame.. Until I get a front bumper I'll keep it there.

Hitch is cut off in the rear. I installed the new yoke & now need a 1310/1330 ujoint. So now I'm calling it a night. Headed to get ujoint & tomorrow I'll install that, remove the rear pinion shims & install trans mount.

The new frame. Paid $100. Has dual stabilizers, gas tank, and odds and ends. It's overall solid. Well worth the $100.

I want to build a Comanche (or Wagoneer) for my next project, but apparently, that has to wait until after a kitchen remodel.

Ordering bumpers tonight I do believe. Looking at a tire carrier & stinger for front. As well as winch plate for my 10k winch. One day I'll find a deal on the cargo restraint top.
