So fun story on the first day (and days b4 buying the jeep), so i found this jeep on craigslist in Tampa, Fl (i live across the state in vero beach) and off the pictures in the ad it was a 95 yj in a pretty yellow... so we went there and it was orange! well we looked over the jeep and it was what i wanted so i bought it.... then had to drive to orlando to visit my aunt... so from tampa to orlando... then back home to vero (full 200mi trip) with out a top... in the hot Florida sun... well the temp was nice so i cant complain but the sun was nice and bright so i got a nice tan! and finaly home,... i want to put the soft top on but the top shrank for not being on it for so long so i wrestled for 2 hrs and finaly got it on

sorry for no more resent updates but i have done alot sense the last post, well here is the updates, i bought a new (to me frame) that is completely rust free (except some minor surface rust that im going to clean up), also bought a 4 inch RC lift kit and another set of axles with a beefier gearing (idk what gearing tho.... anyone know how to check?) and also got a complete steering assembly (that has the piece for the 4 inch lift) and i bought a clean rust free tub that is going to be delivered tomorrow (6/15/16).... but i am still driving her around as my dd till my true dd gets out of the shop so i cant start any of the fun stuff untill then... well down here in florida (last month...or was it the month before?) we got alot of rain... enough that my jeep was strugling though some areas.... so i checked my trans fluid and sure enough it was milky... so i did a full swap on ALL of my fluids (except coolant) and started setting up my frame, attached the suspension and axles and the steering components. but i came across a small problem... i was driving down the road (almost home) when i heard a clank then heard something dragging... Uh Oh.. so i stop, shut the jeep off and look under her and what do i see? i see my gas tank sitting on the ground... so i flip on my hazards and walk the rest of the way home, grab some rachet straps and walk balck, i strap the tank up and drive the rest of the way home, throw it up on some ramps and look under, aparently my gas tank skid was so rusted that it collapsed,

luckly my new frame has a perfectly good gas tank skid so i pull it off, clean it and paint it, it took me 5 hrs to get the old skid off (with the fact that everything was rusted) and get the new one on.... but in the good news? My tank isnt going anywhere soon...

PS anyone want my old gas tank skid?

New tub is in! New frame is ready with 4inch rough country lift and built axles (ill post what gearing when i figure it out) and i sprayed the bottom of the tub with raptor liner, it needs one more bottle and then the frame needs to be sprayed....(maybe ill spray the body white, i bought a bottle to test it on the old tub)

i sprayed the rear quarters of my old tub with the white raptor liner to test its durability and see how i like the color, im liking it so far, im gunna beat on it some more then make my decision on if im going to spray the entire body with the white raptor liner (i think i am going to go with it tho)
