Which radiator

Hey All-
I just put a freshly rebuilt, lightly modified 360 in an 89 YJ, and she seems to be running a little on the warm side - 210-215 at idle with no load.... 180 thermostat. Fan blades are about 1 1/4" from radiator so there is plenty of air getting pulled through the core.
My question is does anyone know of a radiator that holds a larger volume of coolant while still maintaining the stock attachments.
Thanks for any help

Do you have a shroud around the fan? If so is the fan location relative to the back edge of the shroud to far in or out? I seem to recall the best is to have the fan pitch centered on the back edge of the shroud.

Novak sells a really nice unit, and you can even go for a built-in electric fan with shroud. It's YJ specific so it bolts right in and the ports are matched to the engine you're using. It's not cheap though.

I run the Novak one in my 5.3 conversion. Very expensive but firs great. They have a pretty cool mounting system. First one lasted about 3 years before it sprung a leak. I just put another one in and seems to be good for now. Novak did give me a discount on the second unit so I'm satisfied.

You might consider putting some venting on your hood to let the air out.
