I am SO glad I went with 35s on steel 15s. I love how it performs offroad when aired down. Plus, I like the look of all that sidewall. It was a bit sketchy offroad before the flat fenders though. All 4 tires tried to rip the fenders off when flexing...the 2 rears succeeded on the very first trip offroad.

Before flat fenders:

First offroading before flat fenders (had to bungee both fenders to the spare to get them home):

After flat fenders:

can you link where you got your fenders? love the look of the wheels and fenders. I will be buying 15 inch wheels with 35x12.5xR15 STT Pros soon

Also, are your wheels 15x8 or wider?

Keep in mind 15" wheels will take away your ability to add a BBK (big brake kit) and most upgraded tie rods as well. Most of those require 17" minimum, some require 18".

Good luck!

Unfortunately, I got the fenders on eBay from KMJ Performance and they don't appear to carry them anymore. However, they are close to the same price on Amazon right now.

Good eye on the wheels. I went with 15X10s because my tires are 35x13.5 instead of 35X12.5 like most, so I didn't want that really bad balloon look. These wheels help mitigate some of the issues Blue Baby Sound mentioned, because they only have 4.25" of backspace. The downside was they had to notch and paint the fake beadlock ring to keep the valve stem from rubbing it.
