The post you quoted is 5 years old, and the poster has only posted once since 2012. Probably not going to get a response from him.

That being said, the 15x8 Tracker has a -19mm offset, which equates to a 3.75" backspace. You will want to extend your spare tire bumpers on the tailgate with either radiator hose jammed in/around the stock ones, or replace the stock ones with Daystar extended bumpers.

Also, unless you are in a rush, I would wait to make your purchase until Discount Tire Direct has their next promotion, which will almost certainly be President's Day (Feb 19th, 2018). In the past, they have ran $100 MIR on set of wheels and $100/$75/$25 MIR on tires (depending on the brand/model). Seems like the Duratracs qualified for the $100 MIR. There is also a forum discount you can get by contacting the rep here on the forum (forum name is Discount Tire).

If you don't feel like waiting, Goodyear has an $80 MIR now through 12/31. That can be stacked with the forum discount. Link to rebate.

Just want to say if anyone is following this thread and wondering what kind of mileage could be expected. I just put on a new set after getting over 70k from my first set. Not much offroading other than dirt roads but as a normal daily driver I got 70k. I couldn't believe it. I could have ran them all winter before replacing but I would have worried a little about getting out in the snow. I highly recommend them. Wish they came in a 35 for a 15" rim but other than that they have been great.

Anyone running 33x12.5x15 Falken Wildpeak A/T3W's on level 8 trackers (or similar wheel)? Can't seem to find any pics of this setup. The new wildpeaks are getting good reviews and I want to see how they look on a Jeep compared to duratracs.

Insane difference!

After almost a year and a half with my JKU, I finally upgraded from the stock Sahara tire/wheel combos! I went to my local Discount Tire and got 33x12.5r15 Duratracs mounted on matte black Level 8 Trackers (15'' -19mm offset)! She finally looks like a Jeep! I took her Jeepin after the install and man! These Duratracs are no joke!

For all those with questions, my 2014 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Sahara was completely stock (no lift or anything like that) and these tires and wheels fit just fine! I haven't experienced any rub at all with this new set up, and regardless of what I was told by many, 15'' wheels absolutely fit over the stock brakes. The stock tire carrier is handling the new tire/wheel absolutely fine with no issues.

The only downside (and I obviously knew this was coming) is I went from 18/22 mpg on the stock wheels/tires down to 16/19 mpg. But honestly, that's way better than I thought was going to happen.

Hey guys,

Have a stock JKU that I finally want to upgrade the wheels and tires on. Been waiting for a sale at DTD and they have one now for Presidents Day.

Always planned on getting MB TKO or Level 8 Trackers in 15" with 33x12.50x15 Duratracs. But they are showing out of stock on the MB TKO (which I prefer)

The DTD guy mentioned he can offer me a 16" wheel and tire combo with same price. It would be the Level 8 Strike 5 wheels in 16" with 285/75r16 Duratracs. I like the look of this wheel a bit better, but I am concerned with 2 things:

a) E rating tire. Will the ride be overly harsh on a JKU? Is it worth it to stay with C rating?

b) weight. I looked up weight of both combos on DTD. 15" package is 73 lbs total and 16" package is 77 lbs total. Is that a big enough difference to stick with the 15" Or will it be even noticeable at all?

I also like the 12.5 width on the 15"

So what did you decide to do?

After speaking with Matt from DTD, he said the TKO in 15" (and 16" for that matter) have been out of stock for a good bit now with no ETA in sight. Figured that made my decision for me. I could have went up to 17" setup but 1) I dont like 17s with 33s, and 2) They are way more expensive.

So I went wiht the 16" Level 8 Strike 5 wheels with 285/75r16 Duratracs. Ride is slightly rough I guess. Not as bad as I was expecting. May air them down to around 30 to see what that does to the ride quality but I am happy.

Hi DT,

My 2016 Rubi Hard Rock tires are due for replacement soon and I am looking at getting the combo. Do you know if I will have any trouble with these tires and my Rubicon Rock Rails? I saw in some posts that they should be fine with this size but want to be sure.

Also, if I plan to have them installed at my local Discount Tire should I order through you or call them directly? I would like to get the forum discount if possible along with mail in rebates.

Thanks!

I put "the combo" on my 2014 Polar Edition JKU and love it. The only problem I have is the center caps that came with the Level 8 Trackers are pretty rusty. Anybody know where I can get a new set?

Hi, plyers22-

I checked DTD's inventory and it looks like they are sold out. I'll contact the manufacturer on Monday when they're open to see if they have any stock.

I apologize for the delay. I checked with the manufacturer to see if they had perhaps any replacement caps but no luck. They are completely sold but we have a solution for you. PM coming your way.

I'm also having a rusty center cap issue with my Level 8 Trackers. I'd similarly appreciate any advice!
