AEV SAVREGE wheels with Falken wildpeaks AT3W

New wheels and tires installed, these are the AEV SAVREGE in argent. The tires are Falken Wildpeaks AT3W. Took a chance on these tires even though I havenít read much about them. Iíll do a review on them once I take them off road.

How did you end up liking the Wildpeaks? I went with them as well but donít have them on the Jeep yet; waiting to get my lift installed.

Chiming in for kicks and giggles. They've done pretty well on the road and off road. On road they've worn only slightly, and they're extremely quiet for how aggressive they are. Off road, no complaints - lots of grip and they clear mud pretty well. With all the stupid snow lately, I've been pretty impressed with them in that manner. No traction issues at all other than a few sheets of ice.

Depending on your size, you could probably go ahead and install if you wanted. I run 285/70/17, and only had a slight rub on the front driver's side at full lock. After the lift, no further issues.

Thanks for the input. I’ve heard mostly positive things about the Wildpeaks. I got the 285/75/17s and they pretty tall. Should have the lift on in a few weeks.

Wild Peak AT3

GREAT Tires.. Wet or dry pavement, very low noise, balanced well, good traction and wearing OK. have them on my 13 JKU and will be buying/putting on my 16 JKU too. Wheels are 17x9.

Well here is my update. Spent the day Off Roading at Rausch Creek and they performed amazingly. Absolutely no issues with grip anywhere. They went up some rocks like it was nothing and were air down around 20 PSI without issues. I did get stuck in a mudhole but that had to do with the fact that the entire tire was underwater and I did not have the power to get through, AKA im an idiot. Ill post some pictures later on today when i am home and have access to them. Any questions feel free to ask.

So had these tires now for 6 months. I have taken them off roading about 5 times and they have been awesome. They kicked ass in the snow, they kick ass on the mud/trail, they kick ass go up rocks, they kick ass on the rain. All in all they are fantastic tires and I cannot praise them enough. I go off roading with my brother who has a Rubicon on 33" Terra Grappler tires. I do not have lockers and I have gone through areas without issue and his tires are slipping and sliding all over the place. I have yet has an area where I needed lockers and and my brother has needed his lockers. Now I know a lot has t do with line, size difference etc but I honestly think these tires for the price are some of the best out there now.

I also have Wildpeaks on my 17 Smoky Mountain JKU. I got 285/75/18's and used them on the stock wheels. I do get a slight rub on the sway bar at full lock but I just try not to turn that sharp.
They have been great so far. Super quiet and I have had them offroad a few times and they have done excellent.

I did the Terraflex leveling kit.

I had theses tires on my WK2 for about 20k miles before I traded for my JKU. They still had a ton of tread left easily another 20/30k miles left in them. They performed great in any weather. They are on my shirt list for new tires when I upgrade on my JKU.

Almost got them for the wifes WK2 but went with the Cooper Discoverer AT3 4s that they just released and so far they also have been good but too soon to recommend. Nice WK2 by the way, love the rubi wheels on it.

Thanks. I really liked the WK2, but it just wasn't the same as driving a Wrangler.

JK wheels are one of the best upgrades for the WK2. JK wheels are cheap and look better than most stock WK2 wheels. Those tires were 265/70/17 so one size up from the factory size. Did you keep the stock size on your wife's?
