Black Colored Jeeps Help

Have any of you put lettering on your black Jeep that's matte black, grey, reflective black, etc.? I was wondering how it would look or would it just be lost against the paint. I'm looking at ordering some new color Rubi lettering on pixeldecals. Thanks. Paul

I did matte black lettering and love it. Unfortunately, I do not have any pics to show you at the moment. In some light and at some angles you can't see them but in others they appear.

Click my build link in my signature and the pics look like there are no decals but there are. But you can see them on the Jeep in person with the right light and angle.

Did you do any outline or just matte black? Is it Rubicon lettering?

Found a pic. No outline, just RUBICON.

EDIT: the lettering is much straighter on the hood than the pic shows.

Looks good. I'll think about that.

I think matte black would look great on a black Jeep. I think it would stand out enough due to the differences in gloss levels. I thing grey would stand out enough, depending on how dark you go. Personally I think a gunmetal grey would look great. Silver would look good too, but it sounds like you're wanting a more subdued color. Reflective definitely would be lost at night, but in the day, it's hard to say.

Pixel decals has a dark charcoal grey that looks really good. Maybe get that by itself or matte black with dark charcoal grey outline.
