Offset Pics

Trying to visualize the look of 37s with -19 offset and flat fenders. Doesn't have to be an exact match but any similar setup pictures would be appreciated.

37x12.5 on 17x9 wheels with 4.25" BS and -19mm offset + Bushwacker flats

(the fender liners are going back in, I pulled them to correct the trimming a little bit)

Great looking set-up. This helps a lot, thanks!

Are the fenders standard or wide?

Here's a pic of my JKU with Eautogrille flat tube flares and 35x12.50's on 17x9 inch wheels with 4.5" backspacing/-12mm offset.

And here's the same wheel/tire combo after I added 1.5" wheel spacers.

Appreciate all of this. Few questions and apologize if these are obvious answers.

The difference btwn -12 and -19 is about 1/4". All else equal, does that directly translate to the wheel/tire being kicked out/in an additional 1/4"?

Also, will a 17x10 wheel appear wider than a 17x9 wheel if both set in a 12.5" tire?

As I mentioned....my apologies for the basic questions.

The first post in the below linked sticky has a great infographic that helped me understand wheel spacings a bit better.
https://www.wranglerforum.com/f27/lar...er-142837.html

Essentially the backspacing is what will determine how far away from the Jeep the wheel is sitting. For a 12.5" wide tire, people typically aim for a max of 4.5" backspacing to prevent rubbing. My Nitto Trail Grapps run a little wide so I picked a wheel with 4.25" backspace. So these wheels sit 0.25" further out than the same wheel would with a 4.5" BS

I'm not sure if a 17x10 would appear wider. My guess is that they would either appear the same 12.5" wide or perhaps slightly wider on the 17x9 since the tire would might "mushroom" out a little more.

If a 9 and 10 inch wide wheel have the same backspacing, the 10 inch wheel will stick out an inch farther and appear wider.

Before I selected my wheels/tires I asked the same question to 3 reputable shops and only 1 said that I would have an issue with rubbing/clearance. The other 2 sounded certain there wouldn't be a problem
JKU w/ 3.5 Lift, 37x13.5 trail grapps, 4.75 BS. After reading this, it sounds like I will have issues.

At 4.75 and -19, 10" wheels, 37x13.5......will the tires sit farther in than yours or about the same?
Sorry, I pick mine up on Tuesday and I'm dying over here trying to figure out how it's going to look.

Compared to my 4.25 BS and 37x12.5. I would expect your tires to sit approximately 0.5" inches further out and 0.5" further in than mine.

Congrats! Make sure you post some pics when you get them on!

After thinking about it , I think I got it. Wheels will sit further in but tires will stick out further. So pretty much the same as yours?

yup exactly. My thought process was: My wheels stick out 0.5" more b/c of the smaller backspace, so yours will begin 0.5" closer to the body. Then b/c your tires are 1" wider than mine, they will extend out an additional 0.5" past mine. So effectively the same position, my tires are just a little bit more narrow
