Rear License Plate Relocation Pics

Hello all! Could you kindly post some pics of your rear (haha) if you have relocated your license plate and please let me know what relocation bracket you are using? I know that it must include a license plate light as well so the gents & ladies in blue aren't mad at you.

After I relocate my license plate I am definitely getting the JCR bottle opener! This will be very handy for football tailgates!

I'm looking forward to seeing your rears!

Here’s what I did with my old one (now girlfriends JKU). I used an ACE Engineering relocation kit with the Putco 2281L license plate lightbar. I am very happy with how it turned out, I also got a bottle opener in place of the old license plate mount, I never knew JCR made one too.

Thanks for the post! I like the setup. What company makes the black bottle opener?

Nice gobi Rubicon! Thanks again for the response.

Heres what I did.. My requirements for relocation were: simple wiring, no exposed wires, and license plate to not swing with the tire carrier(Mainly for wiring reasons) And because it is a hitch mount and can easily be removed when wheeling

I just bought the license plate hitch bracket from QTech($30.00 and then a cheap license plate light from autozone) I just cut the stock light from the pigtail wiring harness(behind driver side tail light) and then ran wiring in loom on the back frame and then had it pop out behind the plate (I attached disconnects near plate that are wrapped and zip tied to the frame, that way if I am pulling a small trailer I can just pop the license plate off and undo the wiring easily)

Overall I think it came out as just a clean/easy install. It didn't require breaking and splicing into the passenger side and finding the wiring, which seems to be a popular method.. Although I am sure it is easy, I didnt want to start hacking on wires in a new jeep

I got it through a company called FSM Design & Fabrication, they have zero customer service but it finally arrived a few months later, I believe they’re out of business now. I thought they were the only company who made one until I saw this post
