Rugged ridge Battery isolator install

I just finished up hooking up the dual battery isolator from rugged ridge. The dual battery mount was simple and the instructions were straight forward. The isolator I had some trouble understanding where to mount it and where to mount the switch. They recommend putting the switch in the cab, but did not provide enough cable to correctly install it. I just wanted to share what I did.

I'm looking at the same setup in my '15 JKU. A buddy at the local shop suggested that the dual battery system might burn out the stock alternator (which I believe is 160 Amps) which I found surprising.
Does anyone have any long-term reviews regarding dual-battery setups?
Another question, has anyone installed a larger alternator?
